your first link 238 managers nation wide. 339 companies in all of 2011, you know how small of a drop in the bucket those numbers are?

Ignorance does not excuse breaking the law.  If they break the law by hiring illegal immigrants, they should face the consequences.  Just as they would for a different violation of the law that they don't know about.

 

 

Chipotle.  450 Chipolte workers in Minnesota did not have documentation.  That's just in one state.  And it's a state that doesn't have a lot of undocumented workers to begin with.  

 

5 million workers, I've looked and have been hard pressed to even find one close to the chipolte 450. Again the majority of them are self employed or working as contractors day to day. I have no problem with closing down every business hiring illegals, throwing everyone that hires them at their house in jail, but it's not going to fix anything and would be near impossible to manage.
