Yeah like Carr wins one game and now everybody is all over him... Did you not watch the game? They literally went up 17-0 in the first quarter -- not because of Carr but because of a 90 yard TD run and a recovered fumble -- then stalled the entire game, with Carr unable to get a first down on multiple drives, allowed 20 unanswered points and lost the lead, then FINALLY with the fourth quarter half over, Carr has a TD drive (which by the way took 7 minutes and included lots of running plays, it was not a 2 minute drill like Blake has also showed us he can manage.) He really didn't play that well and if one of those two QB sneaks got stuffed on the last drive, they would have lost and he would have thrown less than 150 yards and no TDs.


That SD team he threw 4 touchdowns on earlier this season? Just like teams have been adjusting to Bortles and taking advantage of his weaknesses, SD did the same thing in their second matchup and held Carr/the raiders to 6 points and no touchdowns last Sunday. I'm telling you the grass is not greener on the other side. Next year Winston will probably get himself into more trouble and Mariota will ride the bench because he doesn't know how to pass from the pocket and you'll realize that Bortles' performance really isn't that terrible for a rookie QB in the grand scheme of things.
