Cardinals vs Seahawks: Clash of the NFC Titans

#14

I don't think Arizona have their next franchise QB on current roster.

Drew Stanton is a good backup QB and I believe Bruce Arians he can help his team to the Super Bowl, but I have no doubt that Carson Palmer will be starter in 2015 (he should be recovered by the start of the season). He just signed a three-year extension a few days before his injury, but only his 2015 salary is fully guaranteed. So If Palmer won't recover well or if he won't play good next season, they can move on from him in 2016.

I'm interested to see how Logan Thomas will develop under Arians but for now he's just a project. They will probably draft another mid round QB next year.

About the clash of the NFC Titans Smile From now on, every game is like a playoff game. Over the next 4 days our season is on the line. 2 wins and we are back in for at least WC spot, maybe even division title. We could probably still survive with 1-1, but wouldn't depend on ourselves anymore, with two losses we are definitely out.

Bobby Wagner is back, which is huge news for defense. Run defense was suffering with him and also Mebane out. Carroll also said, Kam is feeling a lot better than over the last few weeks. Hopefully we can create some turnovers. We were getting better in that over the last month (9 takeaways in last 4 games after we only have 5 in first 6 games). On the other side of the ball it will be important to run against their good run defense (strength against strength, so I think this is a key to win this game), but I would also like to see improvement in passing game. Wilson is not at his best this season, but he also didn't have a lot of support from receivers (pass protection is also bad and I'm not a fan of Bevell's playcallilng). There are rumours we could use Sherman at WR in Red zone situations. It would be interesting to see him lineup against Patrick Peterson. No doubt this will be a physical battle. I hope we can get a win somehow and stay injury free.
