Did you see the play? I did, and I though it was funny - Winston was so focused on getting the play off he was full steam ahead.


And those poor little officials, allowing themselves to be bullied like that. Too bad they aren't allowed to call infractions when they see one ... oh, wait.


With all the stuff one can use, legitimately, against Winston and you go with this?

Dave Cutia, ESPN's college officiating expert and the former Pac-10 coordinator of officiating, said FSU should have been penalized 15 yards and Winston should have been ejected for the contact.


Rules are rules. The ref was standing over the ball because it wasn't supposed to be snapped until the ref gave the OK. Pushing him out of the way isn't getting the OK.
