If that's the reason you think Blackmon should be traded, based on potential troubles down the road with violations then you are completely in the wrong. He is a game changer and having a new QB will only further illuminate his talent.

No team would offer anything even remotely close to a top 10 pick for the very same reason you mentioned. 

 

This speculation by some former GM is nothing but a guess looking at teams with needs vs. teams that have players they would be willing to trade because they need more draft picks. 

 

This team has identified Blackmon as a part of their rebuilding efforts, so it's a moot point.
