This is the crux of the matter and something you are determined not to accept you are embarrassingly wrong about.

 

We can all belly ache about a decision we feel is bad, I belly ached about the Monroe trade, some belly ached about drafting Anger, others about releasing D. Smith.

 

These are things that have actually happened and we can watch the results every Sunday and therefore we can legitimately gripe about them.

 

When something doesn't happen, like a trade, you simply have no point of reference to suggest whether it should have happened or not seeing as you have no idea what factors were in play. You don't know if Caldwell has offered Lewis to every team in the league for a conditional 7th only to be told no. To suggest he has failed because he can't match up to the frankly silly trade you made up in your head is so stupid its actually funny.
