The controversy won't be eliminated by this playoff system. It won't be eliminated by inviting 8 teams either.
I was in the minority on this from the start. People thought a playoff system would put the best 4 teams into it each with an equal chance of winning the title. But we've always had a bona fide champion in the BCS system except for possibly one year. If you expand it to 8 teams you'll still have #9 and #10 and others complaining they beat #7 or #4 and arguing who played who. Regards.....................the Chiefjag |
