Look, the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle used by Oswald was Italian made in the early 1900s considered so inaccurate a weapon the Italian Army wouldn't purchase it. Other witnesses took pictures of the slaying as well which were confiscated by the FBI.

 

It's pretty much concluded by experts there was more than one gunman. I agree.

Oswald did not use a "Mannlicher-Carcano" rifle because there never was such thing.  The Mannlicher has nothing to do with the Carcano that Oswald used except for the fact that both guns used a single stack “en-bloc” clip. It was very common to erroneously call both rifles by the same name.  Many researches and even the Warren report have used the term "Mannilicher-Carcano".  The clip on the Carcano held six rounds, and you push the loaded clip in from the top of the action. If you look in the pictures of Oswald’s, you it seems to be copper washed, or with some kind of brass plating. The Mannlicher used a similar clips, and so the clip itself was sometimes called the "Mannlicher-Carcano" but not the rifle.  The bottom line is that the Carcano for all it's flaws, could be a reasonably accurate rifle under the right conditions.
