I killed Kennedy. Went back in time in the Tardis, and fired a shot from mid-air.
As for why I did it... to keep the timeline stable. Also because he was a Zygon. A zygon that was in league with the Cybermen and the Daleks. Want proof? Doctor Who started airing the day after Kennedy was shot. Thankfully the real Kennedy is safe and sound, living in Miami. Or at least he was the last I checked on him in 2658. Where I dropped him off. Along with Marilyn Monroe.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
