Correct.

 

Rex made it to two AFC championship games due to his defensive coaching prowess, but this is the modern NFL, and defense is very difficult to win with.

 

The formula is find a coach that knows how to develop a QB and develop a QB.

 

I'm not seeing that on this team's coaching staff.

 

I think Bortles provides great clay to be molded, but I don't have confidence in this group to bring him along.
