The Jaguars were bad that year, but they weren't as bad as Gus's first year, and this year Gus is headed for another similar season.

 

The Jaguars lost multiple competitive heartbreaker type games under Mularkey. (Vikings, Raiders, texans, pats)

 

Under Gus it's been much more consistently bad against good teams.
