FreeAgent made the claim, "it's a fact most teams in the SEC would beat FSU and the others a 50/50 chance."
My response was FSU played the best the SEC offered last year and beat them, so his claim is not fact, just speculation. If Mizzou beats Alabama in the SEC Championship game I would say they are the best of the SEC, they proved it and yet they would not be selected to the final 4 because of their ranking. If that happens, Miss St. (assuming they win) would be the lone SEC team in the playoff without winning their division but their single loss in the conference was to the team Mizzou beat in the Championship game. I think what will eventually happen is the top team of each Power 5 conference and 3 invited teams will make up the playoffs. Regards....................the Chiefjag |
