Well this isnt the NFL where nearly 40% of the teams and almost every team that finishes with a record over .500 makes the playoff.  In which case it doesnt matter how good you are, you just need to squeak out as many wins as you can and you're in.  For this college playoff, you're trying to pick the best 4 out of 120+.  And if you are a team like UCLA that has struggled to beat a lot of average to bad teams, thats not a fluke.  Great teams dont consistently struggle to beat mediocre to average competition.  What it means is that you aren't all the great yourself.
