I've lived in Iowa all my life so I haven't had a choice but to drive in lovely winter weather.  Personally, if you drive smart, with a little common sense, I don't find it a big deal.  I worry more about everyone else driving more than I do myself.  Drive defensively (again common sense.   :thumbsup and expect to take longer if the weather is covered in rain/snow.  Give yourself extra distance between vehicles etc.  A lot of it depends on what type of driver you are to start with.  If you have a lead foot you better be careful.  :teehee:

 

If by chance they try to give you a rear-wheel drive vehicle for your first time, I'd recommend asking for a front wheel drive vehicle.  It'll make a big difference, particularly for a rookie snow/ice driver.
