I'm defending Cyp as a player because he's extremely talented, however, I'm not defending his play on the field as of late. He's simply got to get his head straightened out and stop giving up explosive plays. Having said this much, he's nowhere near as bad as Reggie Nelson was when he played Safety, and Nelson went on to the Bengals and seemed to play much better as learned the game. I'd hate to give up on Cyp too soon only to see him excel with another team.
