I understand the argument that continuity could be good for Bortles -- but that's also why I felt Fisch should be fired last year.  I think it'd hurt Bortles development equally to have an OC who can't get the job done.  

 

The Coordinator isn't the only problem, but I think it's part of the problem.  


I'd say if Fisch is fired at the end of the year, that Dave has more faith in Gus.  Because I don't see us firing a head coach, and then having an OC change again in back to back to back years.


If Fisch stays at the end of the year, I think Gus's chances aren't as good (and not just because the OC isn't the right fit).  It could signify that there's a possibility of an entire coaching change.
