There is a reason why veterans get huge contracts and rookies get put on a pay scale because their talent rarely translates on to the field in any significant manner.

 

You can't ignore that fact and claim that a good coach would have these players playing at a level where they could be expected to beat talented veteran squads.

 

Rookies struggling is a trend league wide and throughout the history of the NFL. You can't marginalize that. Every team in the NFL wishes they could marginalize that.

 

It's a fallacy to say that someone else would do a better job at coaching up a starting line up full of this many rookies and second year players because there are no comparables. You can't name a single team that has fielded this much inexperience much less one that has done it with any amount of success.

 

I can understand what you're saying.  But alot of it, I just don't agree with.  I think there are plenty of offensive game plans that other coaches could have come up with to allow us to have won  more than 1 game.  

 

The fact that this team has only had 2 games of 20 points and the rest of our games were 18 points or less on offense is an indictment of a lack of coaching.  You can only use the "rookie" defense so much before it falls apart.

 

Again, rookies make mistakes, may be out of position here and there.  But the fact that it is near impossible for us now to score 20 points in so many games is (to me) a clear indication that our offensive game planning is inept.

 

Heck, even the raiders have scored 23 or more points in 3 games.  (we've only done it twice).
