My point is if the Jaguars had better play from the DBs the team would have more wins.  I realize Gratz is only in his 2nd year and is still learning but I am thinking that Aaron Colvin will prove to be the better CB out of the two.

 

The Jags have a very young secondary with a FS lacking the talent to play the position well in their scheme. That accounts for those numbers IMO. 

 

I would:   Upgrade FS -  coach up  Cyprien/provide a mid tier FA for competition - and re-sign Alan Ball.  <  Only one of those things will require a high pick or big money in FA. 

 

Between Ball, McCray, Colvin and Gratz you should be able to find two quality corners for next year.  Put the third guy at nickel and the other becomes depth.  If they want to add competition , that's fine too, but I think this secondary will take a leap forward with a better FS, a little competition,  and another year of maturity.
