coaches normally don't take a step back to college unless they aren't doing well. they don't go back to college for money, cause it's not there.


UF is not going to spend a bajillion dollars on a contract like everybody assumes.

According to this link, the average salary in the NFL for a coach is about 4.8 million. That isn't far off from what Florida offered freeze, if 4.2 is the correct figure.


Freeze isn't really a big time name either so that's why I'm sure they tried to get him at a bargain price.


Harbaugh apparently makes 5mil per year. I'm sure if Michigan, for example really wanted him, he would make at least his 5 mil a year.
