All teams have to beat the blitz, before the blitz will stop.  This requires the proper setup of hot-routes from the play itself or a checked play by the QB, a line that can be redirected to cover the blitzing defense, and a QB that can identify the likely blitz before the snap and take advantage of the hole it leaves by quickly releasing the pass.  Until the other teams defensive coordinator sees that blitzing is costing them, they'll continue to "bring the house."
