I understand this was meant as pointless sarcasm, and I'm not sure what's got your panties in a bunch, but we saw the effect of formation on the ability of the o-line to block on the TD pass to Marquis Lee.

 

The offense was way spread out in an unusual formation and the Giants had to respect it, and on the pass all of our guys still in to block picked their man up and blocked them with no problem.

 

Part of the reason that the offensive linemen always look good in NE is because of Brady, but part of it is also the scheme that keeps defenses spread out and makes them declare their coverage. When the NE line gets whipped in pass protection it's because of losing the one on one match-ups, not because if messing up their scheme.
