Of course, that didn't happen at all, and usually doesn't. Momentum seems to rarely carry from one season to the next when your a bad team.

 

You're right. But I don't think momentum carries over if you're a good team either. Consider the Carolina Panthers.

 

To have a good year you have to have talent, obviously, (especially a good QB), a favorable schedule, and be lucky regarding injuries.

 

But does it help to have won rather than lose - of course it does.
