So what the team hasn't quit on him, what's they got us 2 wins? It's all a moot point, next year he either gives us results or it'll be time to move on, even if the fans, media and players all love the guy. Win or go home.

There is a delicate balance Eric. You have to have some type of personality and rapport with the players/Front Office as a coach otherwise you risk loosing them when you're faced with adversity. Mularkey is a good example of this taken from comments of players who were around then. So is Harbaugh. He currently has one foot out the door despite his amazing head coaching record. The 49ers haven't been relevant in decades and are willing to fire the one guy who has put them back on the map. Why do you think that is?
