Blake Bortles Preseason Mechanics
|
The issues with Bortles may have as much to do with the mental part of the game as it does the physical. By this I mean, he always seems to be trying to climb back into games and by this alone, it puts him in a place of pressure to get back into games constantly. Because he is a rookie, his mental game has not developed to the point as say a (Peyton Manning) and that is effecting his performance too. yes, he is making really bad decisions and thee most important thing he MUST STOP DOING is telegraphing his passing and his penchant for throwing into double and triple coverage. If he doesn't purposely change this............it will follow him wherever he goes and he will have a mediocre career as an NFL QB. He reminds me of Christian Ponder who was thrown to the wolves early too whose second season was worse than his rookie season because he didn't FIX the mental part of his game. This could easily happen to Blake Bortles.
