I give him until next year. 3 years in a system is long enough to turn things around. If he is exactly where he is this time next year at 2-10, would it be fair to give him the axe?


I'm just trying to figure out the mentality here. I'm not an instant gratification kind of guy, but like I said earlier, besides the DLine this team is no different than last year. It's time to put up or shut up. No more moral victories in jacksonville, winning should be the standard.

 

The timeline? That's a good question.

 

I guess ultimately it's up to Khan and Dave.

 

I do get the feeling that because of the way Gus is, it's going to be a hard decision to let him go if that's what they decide to do.

 

Like everyone else, I like Gus, but ultimately being a HC is about wins and losses and making the playoffs and the Jags are severely lacking in the wins and making the playoffs category and way overachieving in the losses dept.and that will have to change.

 

The AFCS is a pretty weak division and Gus should have the Jags in the hunt for the division in December.
