I don't blame CSU. There's a reason a buyout in written into a contract so why not stick to your guns. Also, CSU may need to buy out another coach so they'll need all the $$ they can get in search of their own replacement coach.
Kudos to CSU for making it a $7.5m buyout. I think the RichRod buyout years ago at WVU was only $4m. Teams are getting smarter as these coaches only stay for a few years. |
