I could be mistaking you about this, but you sound a little 'defensive' about the issue of tanking and the colts. Believe me, if the Jags had a chance for Andrew Luck, we would be crazy if we didn't tank to insure we got him. But instead, we facilitated the colts getting Luck by winning a truly pointless end of season game which, had we lost instead, could have put a wrinkle in the colts getting him. To put it bluntly, we screwed ourselves by 'winning' that game.

 

'Tanking' isn't an unsportsmanlike action, it's a maneuver that any good tactician uses. The colts are pretty much guaranteed to dominate the next ten to fifteen years of the AFC south because of 'sucking for Luck'. Too bad the Jags were too...

...... to take action to prevent that when they had the opportunity. Now we get to sit in the colts dust for a long time... again.
