Because there is no learning curve in Madden. You can't just hit a few buttons and completely change up your personnel, plays you call, or your entire offense and expect players to transition seamlessly like they do in a video game.

 

This is the real world where it often takes years of study and practice for players to become proficient at their profession. Like coaches and former players have described it, learning on the field is like going to grad school. A bit more complicated than learning a video game.

 

You don't expect an undergrad to have the training, understanding, or experience to go into a profession and execute it the way that someone could with a Master's degree.

 

It is funny how naive some of you are to think Fisch is supposed to magically get a graduate level of performance from a bunch of rookie and second year players.
