It's also common sense to say that learning a new offense will take a large portion of Blake's focus during the offseason (and beyond) when he could be using that time and energy to expand upon the offense he's just beginning to grasp right now.  Therefore - it puts the brakes on his development when we'd prefer to stay on the gas. 

 

Both points hold water. Of course  - your point dictates that one believes Fisch is incompetent. I don't share that opinion.
