Points For = 247 Points Against = 449 2014 through 13 games Points For = 199 ---> . 245 points thru 16 games Points Against 356 ---> 438 thru 16 games The improvement is obvious ..... While our offense is on track to score 2 less points than last year (247 vs 245), our defense is on track to hold the opponent to 11 less points (449 vs 438) than they did in 2013. If this trend continues for the next 25 years, in the year 2039 we will be scoring 195 points per season while giving up only 163 points. That's like beating the opponent by an average score of 12 to 10. Pretty hard to have a losing record when you outscore your opponent by over 15% points per game. THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT !!!!
