Jaguars set NFL record of most double digit losses in three year span

Quote:As bad as Detroit and Tampa where in the down years, why don't they hold such records ?   I guess we're already below the low standards they set during their down years.

The Lions lost a large number of close games during the near decade of record number of losses.   When the dust settled,  it still was a combination of very frustrating,  aggravating,  and depressing.     Everyone handles losing consistently differently.    The common theme is the difficulty of the situation as a fan.

The record that I don't think any team will break is the Lions 26 straight road losses that finally ended in Tampa in December,  2010..   This record broke the Lions 24 road loss record from earlier last decade.    The term bottomless pit comes to mind when dealing with a losing streak of this magnitude.
