OK.  Just remember that college career stats are not indicative of how well they will perform in the NFL.

 

Before Luck, the last guy that had his hype was Cam Newton.  Both had all sorts of GOAT talk, both went first overall.  I'd be happy if we selected Bridgewater and he played as well as either, but chances are better than even that someone selected after him will have a better career.

 

Not meaning to throw water on your theory, which may well be right, just letting you know that I've seen this before.  Many, many times.
