It's best not to think about it too much, NYC... Otherwise your head will explode. I can understand the penalty... Sort of like the face mask thing, if you touch it, you get the 5 yard penalty, even if inadvertant.
But then to re-watch the play and see that it clearly was not the intent to go helment to helmet, and fine him anyway... It's just absurd. |
