It's no different than all the hate that Sarah Palin got (probably even less) as The Eleventh Doctor pointed out. The left even ridiculed Palin's family. 

 

That's simplistic and, frankly, naive. The hatred and disrespect towards Obama started before he was president. Did you see any of those town meetings and rallies during the 2008 campaign?

 

Have you heard any member of Congress call any president a liar during the State of the Union address, no matter how unpopular, or seen a governor of a state wag their finger in the face of a president?

 

All the birther and Muslim nonsense is part of it.

 

I am not saying his failure as a president is due to racism, nor am I making excuses. I am just pointing out there was obvious dislike of Obama before he did anything to warrant that feeling.

 

I disliked Palin because it was evident from the start that she is an idiot.
