But the deeper point being (unless they are bowled over with a trade offer) they are better off taking the QB here. You keep taking one until it becomes almost 100% apparent that you don't have any QB issues/ questions. 

 

I like Bortles, and still think that potential is there but am I 100% sold? Or even 75% sold? No I am not. Part of that is that I think Bortles has been harmed by a bad OC. I'd say that I'm 60/ 40 on Bortles right now, and 60% is not enough to keep me from drafting what could be a better QB. 

 

Whats the worst that could happen? That one of them is a backup for us? Look at what Henne makes already, salary-wise. The new rookie pay scale makes it less of an issue regarding salary. 

 

Yeah, I'm in favor of taking a QB like Mariota at our pick if we can't make any trades getting en masse of picks in return.
