Just thinking out loud here. 

 

If we want to build through the draft and that takes a while how are we going to retain quality players who will want to go to winning teams to give themselves a chance to win a Super Bowl?

 

Do you think that we are going to be able to retain Shorts or Blackmon after their rookie deals if we don't improve dramatically; how will we be able to attract any key free agents when we are in the basement year after year?

 

Name a star free agent that we have signed in the last 5 years; how about a star player that we drafted in the last 5?

 

While I like some of your optimism about the new leadership, I say we have less than a 10% chance of even making the playoffs in the next 5 years due to the turnover that will come as better quality players move on to other teams.
