Any Canes/Buckeyes Fans Remember This?

Quote:Are you blind? Gamble touches the ball before Glenn Sharpe even touches Gamble. If I am blind, so is the newspaper reporter who wrote the correct call would have been defensive holding because Chris Gamble was held before Craig Krenzel threw the ball. Quote:I didnt see holding either. His hands were clearly touching Gamble as the play was developing... which wasnt illegal then and I dont think is illegal now. But you can see Sharpe lose contact with Gamble as the ball was in there air. And then regain contact as Gamble was dropping the ball. I will say it looked like Sharpe wanted to grab Gamble with his left hand as Gamble was going up for the ball but I dont think he actually did. Finally someone actuallly goes into detail about why it could have possibly been a bad call. Perhaps back judge Terry Porter saw a clear attempt to interfere and based his call on that. |
