It makes a big difference to me whether we're 7-9 or 1-15. People will erroneously believe that a higher draft pick leads to success on the field. That's a fallacy. Theoretically the probability suggests that's the case, but the Patriots are proof it does not.

 

Going to a game is an entertainment event for the attending fans. Most want to see wins on the field while we'll let the draft take care of itself. If the Front Office knows what they are doing drafting the right guys is more important than drafting a high pick. For the money and time I spend on Sundays for the entertainment the goal is to win. Success is not a destination, but a journey.
