How quickly could a quality offensive/defensive coordinator turn this team around?

Quote:Asking for a competitive football team after 7 years of historically hot garbage being put on the field is not demanding 'instant gratification'. In actuality it is the 'complacent hand-sitters that are fine with below mediocrity for decades' crowd that is more worrying. Majority of teams are able to find at least 1 or 2 seasons in a 7-year stretch that they were at least competitive, and I am sure those teams didn't go threw a 4-year rebuilding process to get it. With the current regime, anything that happened prior to 2013 doesn't matter. As a fan it sucks but these guys are here to clean up the stinking mess left here by Wayne Weaver and Gene Smith. Nobody said it would be easy. |
