Jags favored by 3 points Thursday night

Titans just signed QB Jordan Palmer (remember him?) as a backup for Thursday's game. With 2 days to learn their system and a resume like this, let's hope he doesn't get a chance to play. Jags have a history of allowing "never was's" to have career games;
Palmer: Drafted in 6th round of 2007 draft by Redskins Waived by Redskins 0n 9/2/2007 Signed by Arizona Rattlers of the Arena League for 2008 season Signed by Bengals on 1/30/2008 Released by Bengals on 8/27/2011 Signed by Jaguars on 5/7/2012 Released by Jaguars on 8/31/2012 Re-signed by Jaguars on 11/21/2012 Released by Jaguars Signed by Bears on 8/16/2013 Released by Bears on 8/30/2013 Re-signed by Bears on 10/28/2013 Released by Bears on 8/24/2014 Signed by Bills on 8/25/2014 Released by Bills on 8/29/2014 Career Stats: Has thrown 15 NFL passes for 39 yards with 2 interceptions and a 34.4 passer rating. Stay Healthy, Whitehurst!! |
