I'm wondering if this is going to turn out to be a 'cyclical' type of thing where it goes back and forth. In other words, for a few years lots and lots of Underclassmen declare for the draft. Ineligible players see this happening but notice that they may get a better draft position in the future if they can develop their talents a bit so they hold off. Now the cycle is at the point where less Underclassmen declare.

 

Not sure it will play out that way but it'll be interesting to see if it does.
