I think that's the fundamental difference. In your view and in most right wingers views it's "such a small minority" and I can understand that from multiple perspectives. However from mine and and whole lot of other people's it is not a small minority. It is a well over 75% portion of the people I knew and still know from Florida, including my own family which is relatively large. Anecdotal? Sure but that's really all I have to go by. 

 

I have a problem when people try to say it's not a problem it ONLY about policy. No it wasn't that's not true. Not for everybody but not for a very small portion either.

I can say this, the people that I do know (I live and grew up around Florida rednecks) that just hate Obama because he's Black and sounds like a Muslim name, they don't participate in the process. Heck they couldn't name their state reps if you offered them a life time supply of beer.

 

So when I say it's a small minority I should qualify that as, the people that are actively involved actually vote and pay attention it's a small minority.
