1) I never stated that Mariota would be a great quarterback. I stated that he has tremendous upside. And with two such QBs (Mariota and Bortles), the odds that the team will get a great QB improve greatly.

 

2)  No, you don't know who is going to be great...at any position.  But no position on a team has more impact than the QB .  The Texans have JJ Watt.  The Colts have Andrew Luck.  Which team do you think has a brighter future? 

 

3) Again, with two QBs with upside on the roster, the chances that one of them will develop improves greatly.
