Johnathan Cyprien had his best game as a Jag according to PFF

Quote:Its not a debate. Cyp is 4th in the league among safeties for tackles. He has more than any of our linebackers. he does not miss plenty, you are sloshed and see the one he missed in space shedding a blocker and covering for Thomas or Hayes who fell down. You don't count the other ten he makes. Which makes you an amateur blind hater. Debate over, you couldn't be more wrong, he is the one man in the secondary we cannot do without right now.

There's no doubt that Cyprien is always around the ball.

Cyprien, however, has whiffed on A LOT of tackles. He definitely has a knack for getting to the ball... unless he takes a bad angle. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. That's part of being involved in so many tackles. Just because he doesn't take a bad angle 4 out of 5 times, it doesn't mean that it's good SS play. Especially when that 1 missed angle leads to a big gain or TD.
