It's painfully obvious, though, that their success has mostly been built on feasting on possibly the worst division any team has ever had to face in the history of the NFL.

 

The titans and Jaguars are both close to historically bad and the texans are another team that would be a 3 or 4 win team in decent divisions that didn't give them four freebies against the titans and Jaguars.

 

We will find out which division is worse next year when they play each other and don't have the AFC North on their schedules. We also will find out if the AFC North teams were feasting on a very easy schedule as they got the NFC South, Jaguars, and Titans this year.

 

It is obvious the Colts are not just winning because of us and the Titans. That is only four games. They had one of the hardest schedules last year with the NFC West and AFC West and defeated both Super Bowl teams on their way to an 11-5 record. That means they played against more winning teams than losing teams because of the division they are in. When you talk about "because of the division," you must keep this in mind: 10 games are not played against other AFC South teams and 8 of those opponents are the same for the Texans, Jaguars, and Titans. Therefore when people say "because of the division" they should be talking about games against the NFC East and AFC North, not just the Jaguars and Titans.
