Quote:My #1 offensive lineman is La'el Collins. I feel his value is around #10 to #15 overall. I don't get the fascination with Collins. He uses his body to block. He looks lost at the second level, often never blocking anyone, or just touching someone. He gets turned around in pass protection by fast rushers. He holds all the time. When I see him turning his guy around, there's a pretty good chance that he grabbed a jersey and turned the defender. Often times, he'll straight up wrap arms around someone. When a blitz on the outside comes in, and the guard is occupied, he struggles picking a defender to engage. I never seen him lose his battles in the running game, so I think he'd be fine at guard if you limit how much space to give him. He'll probably go in the 1st round but I wouldn't touch him until the 2nd. |
