Now that Fisch is gone and the offense will change, will he have a harder time? Or is he talented enough to overcome it.

Better play calling will help everyone. However, there is a learning curve with a new offensive playbook and no one who is/was on the current roster is going to have prior knowledge of it to help like Hurns did with Fisch. So I think that we should not be surprised if we see a lot of the same sort of 'mental mistakes' (aka- receivers running the wrong routes for a given play call...) that we witnessed this past season. Plus it will take time for Bortles to learn that playbook also. Until he does, the play calling will probably be limited initially, which will of course have the consequence of our offense being predictable and experiencing lots of struggles... not unlike this season, actually.

 

I'm not certain now if reaching 6-10 will be an achievable goal given the challenges this team will have to face. Given the way the rules are set up for off season contact between coaches and players, the odds are starting to stack up against the Jags already for next season.
