The last two SEC champs (the very best of their conference) just got beat by the ACC and BIG10 in consecutive years.

Missouri and TAMU join the SEC (after being mediocre in the BIG12),,, and Missouri plays in 2 straight conference championships, while TAMU stays very competetive.

Well, to be fair, when Mizzou was in the BIG12, they were good every 4-5 years.


The SEC doesn't nearly belong to be on such a pedestal. They are good,, but not much different from Pac12, BIG10, BIG12 (IMO).


Seriously, the East is dreadful. When are UF, UGA, TENN ever going to get back to being power teams? Ever?


I'm starting to wonder if the WEST's top 4 teams every year are really all that much more powerful than the rest of the country.

Really, I wonder how SEC would've faired if a playoff had been in place the last decade? It's a curious question.
