I'd prefer they draft Teddy, but if they pick Mariota, I'd be excited. From what I've seen Teddy is a very, very solid QB - like, top-15 in the league floor. Mariota's floor, I would guesstimate, is more of the 20ish range. The main reason for this disparity is how effective Teddy is between the ears. Now, if Mariota had Teddy's mind, anticipation, and touch, in addition to what he already has (rocket arm and rocket legs, and size), that would be fantastic.
So I guess what I'm saying is that I'd be happy for either, feeling safer with Teddy and a little more excited with MM.
