Cincy giving him that contract was questionable at best. They have to at least look at drafting/signing some QB competition.


Gotta remember though:

Cincy didn't draft Dalton to be their franchise guy. He was picked in the 2nd round because Lewis liked what he saw at the Senior Bowl that year.


When Dalton was drafted,, Carson Palmer was still on the team, then he decided after the draft that he was done in Cincy.

Dalton got forced into the starting role by Palmer's quitting.


Cincy's roster was so good that it makes Dalton look better than he is,, IMO.


That said,, Marvin Lewis 0-6 in playoffs (5/6 past seasons making it), terrible in primetime,,, it's time to let him go.
